Color Palette Challenge with Demon Girls

As a class assignment, we were challenged to take an artwork of another student and create new art from it. I decided to eyedrop the colors from a couple of abstract pieces from a classmate, and use strictly those colors to create a portrait. This was great practice, as I ended up using colors I would not have thought of on my own. For example, I gave the pink demoness white hair because it was the only color left in the reference (the background). The contrast between the white hair and vibrant pink skin ended up looking great!
